Assisting Leading Cancer Research Institutions
- Approximately 1,600 people die of cancer every day. Cancer is the number two cause of death in America, accounting for every 1 in 4 deaths. Even when diagnosed early, and treated with the latest treatments, it still has the power to kill.
- Based on current incidence rates, 12.4 percent of women born in the United States today will develop breast cancer at some time during their lives.
- The five most deadly cancers are lung/bronchial cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer.
The Foundation is inspired to support women with cancer and strive to enhance and prolong their lives by focusing on enhancing preventive and early screening techniques to fight cancer on the front lines. We want to help in reducing cancer morbidity and mortality throughout the United States by supporting cancer research providers in their detection, diagnosis, treatment, education and prevention, and by promotion the acquisition of knowledge through clinical research.
